Carers – Register with an
understanding agency

We offer experienced self- employed carers with excellent references the best opportunities

Heritage Independent Living is much more than a business – it is a passion to do the right thing – to find carers and companions who we would feel comfortable looking after our own parents, for the benefit of others.

At Heritage Independent Living, everything we do is centred around your specific needs. We pride ourselves on offering a very individual service and ensuring that we treat our clients, their families and our carers with understanding, respect and kindness at all times.

We are an established, UKHCA accredited, nationwide introductory agency. We specialise in matching our experienced companions and professional carers, wanting to work in a self-employed capacity, to your specific requirements. Our fully vetted, DBS checked carers will support you, allowing you to remain in the comfort of your own home pursuing an independent lifestyle, on your own terms, for as long as possible.

We excel at facilitating long term, ongoing care, where the focus is building up relationships between you and the carer. And, unlike almost any other agency, for long term care (more than 12 weeks) we offer loyalty discounts. Also with Heritage, our flexibility means you can usually also have a live-in carer on a part-time basis, for less than 7 days a week or for as long or as short a stay as you require.

We have always appreciated the support and advice you have provided us during our time of using your services. We know Dad received an excellent level of care from those ladies you put forward to help him and remain confident that by keeping him in his own home he had the best experience during this period of his life. Thank you both for your support.

Care is tailored towards individual needs and can range from companion care to specialist care in the home.

Heritage live-in carers perform housekeeping duties (including helping to host visitors – cooking for relatives and friends, providing refreshments at card parties, etc), personal care and specialist elderly live-in care including working with Alzheimers / Dementia, Parkinson’s, post-operative and respite care, rehabilitation routines and palliative situations.

By combining over 30 years of recruitment experience and nursing knowledge, Heritage Independent Living provides a cost competitive alternative to moving into a Care Home and aims to give you total peace of mind by taking the stress away from finding the ideal 24 hour live-in carer.

Heritage sources, screens and takes detailed references in accordance with the recruitment industry’s strict professional guidelines.

Heritage guides clients through the process of engaging a carer – from creating the ideal carer profile (or job description) and ensuring a close match to client needs, interests and goals, all the way up to a successful introduction and carer engagement.

Heritage Independent Living provides a flexible service for as long or as short as you require.

In summary, Heritage Independent Living helps families achieve a superior quality of life for their loved ones by facilitating tailored one to one live-in care at home that is cost competitive with residential care home fees.
